Every Skin Pass skin stays GGBOYS property. A return is only complete once the Steam trade succeeds, all required skins have arrived in official GGBOYS inventory, and GGBOYS has verified quantity, item details, and Asset IDs.
For a normal expiry the deadline is 24 hours, counted from the subscription expiring or from GGBOYS sending the return notice, whichever the applicable notice defines — not from when you read it. Some cases are shorter: 12 hours for a skin moved out of your linked account, 12 hours for a risk, security, inventory, or operational recall, and 12 hours for a serious violation or permanent ban; a chargeback gives 24 hours from our notice.
There is no additional grace period once the deadline passes, and a reminder does not create a new one unless GGBOYS says so in writing. The deadline also does not pause or extend for trade cooldowns, Steam outages, network problems, an invalid Trade URL, a private inventory, account restrictions, an unread notice, or an automatic offer that failed to send.
After the deadline, GGBOYS may charge your balance or linked payment method the original registered value of every skin still outstanding, combined if there is more than one. Stickers, charms, and name tags you added yourself are not included in that amount. If the charge fails, GGBOYS may retry, chase the amount by message, email, SMS or phone, deduct it from later balances, use a third-party collection agency, or pursue legal recovery, and may restrict or ban the account. Balance is only used after a notice is sent; if it does not cover the full amount, the available balance can be taken and the rest stays as debt.
Paying an unreturned-skin charge is not a purchase. It does not transfer ownership and does not give you a right to keep the skin — GGBOYS can still require it back. If you return everything after being charged, GGBOYS can refund the registered value less the costs actually incurred, and that refund can be as low as $0.
